As Communications Manager, Sam crafts narratives that help clients convey their message and broaden their reach. He loves finding and expressing the “why” behind work pushing to create transformational change and uplift historically marginalized communities. He brings a talent for connecting with people and making them feel comfortable to tell their story.
Sam comes to PointNorth following nearly a decade in the news business. His background includes in-depth reporting on government, public policy and elections. As a writer, he is particularly interested in examining how the intersection between good government and private enterprise can benefit the public.
Outside of work, you can find Sam exploring the Cascades, coast and desert with his wife and son. He enjoys doing just about anything outdoors, seeing live music and watching sports.
