Maritime Center

Client: TCF Architecture, BNBuilders, Port of Tacoma, Tacoma School District

Challenge


The Maritime Center will be a landmark campus on the Tacoma waterfront, home to a new Port of Tacoma business office building, Tacoma Public Schools new Maritime|253 skills center open to high school students across Pierce County, and potential public spaces. The proposed location is on Port-owned property that has historical and cultural significance to Puyallup Tribe of Indians.

Solutions


We work closely with Port of Tacoma leadership and the project team to help them understand the needs, values, and priorities of different community groups. Our work helps ensure community voices are heard and reflected in decision-making during both design and construction.
