Challenge


PacMtn, the workforce development convener in the Pacific Mountain region, needed to prepare its Board for an inclusive community engagement and visioning process. This was part of their journey to develop a new four-year strategic workforce plan, seeking alignment and collaborative planning across five counties and many system partners.

Solutions


Our role involved facilitating a robust strategic planning process with PacMtn staff and the dynamic facilitation of multiple Board retreats. Eliciting board feedback was critical to ensuring active involvement in the forthcoming strategic planning process. PointNorth guided the PacMtn team through a strategic planning process with region-wide engagement leading to a new four-year plan that includes vision, mission, values, strategic priorities, goals, strategies and measures of success.
