Summit Learning Charter serves over 1,300 students providing a unique blend of virtual education and real life enrichment opportunities. With the announcement of their Director’s retirement, Summit was in need of securing an exceptional leader that would maintain Summit’s success and effectively guide the school’s programs into the future.
Solutions
The search process included search preparation, such as supporting Summit’s board of directors in identifying a search plan and timeline; the development of a leadership profile through a robust community engagement process including interviews, a community-wide survey, and focus groups; direct candidate recruitment and screening, and supporting the board as they completed candidate interviews, including background checks, evaluation of finalists and selection of the final candidate alongside the board of directors.
