For over a century, YWCA Clark County has been a pillar in local communities, providing essential services like domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy, early childhood education, youth empowerment, and family support. During organizational changes at the YWCA PointNorth has been trusted to provide crisis communication support and to support the YWCA in an out-sourced marketing role.

PointNorth partnered with YWCA Clark County to enhance their communications amidst organizational change and community challenges. Initially focusing on capacity building, we developed we developed comprehensive plans and messaging to navigate leadership transitions. As a result, we were retained as the YWCA’s strategic communication team. We crafted a strategic communications plan to increase brand visibility, emphasizing social equity and anti-racism. Amidst a tragic event, we swiftly implemented a crisis communication strategy, leveraging social media and media relations to offer support and highlight donation opportunities. Our efforts extended the reach of YWCA's message to 1.2 million people, emphasizing the importance of empathetic communication in fostering community resilience.
