(she/her)

Leader, Change Facilitator, Storyteller | Regent, Washington State University | Proud Native Hawaiian

As President, Lisa Keohokalole Schauer leads a team of facilitators, storytellers, and strategic communicators at PointNorth. She draws energy from interacting with people. As a serial entrepreneur with a habit of saying yes, Lisa has built a reputation for identifying improvement opportunities, seeking creative solutions, and taking action through collaboration.

In all of her work, she centers on equity with an emphasis on ensuring the process will be engaging, inclusive, and transparent. This belief is built on the spirit of inclusion and Aloha, an expression of her Hawaiian heritage. Lisa brings a combination of strategic communication experience with organizational development to her understanding of how people connect. She understands that to engage stakeholders she must first listen. She has developed and facilitated numerous public participation projects, advisory committees, and public open houses. Lisa thrives when she is crafting strategies and facilitating meaningful engagements that bring teams, leaders, and organizations together. She also brings with her extensive media relations, government relations, crisis communications, and creative storytelling experience. Prior to leading PointNorth, Lisa was one of three majority shareholders at a regional engineering and construction management firm.

Outside of work, you can find her in a tropical location with her amazing family and giving back to her community.
